The USDA Market News Service reports fed ingredient prices for the week ending 
October 08, 2019 were mixed. Soybean Meal was mixed, 20.10 lower to 9.90 higher, 
mostly 2.10 to 7.10 lower. Cottonseed Meal was steady to 10.00 higher. Whole 
Cottonseed was mixed, 55.00 lower to 50.00 higher. Canola Meal was mixed, 1.80 lower 
to 10.00 higher. Linseed Meal was steady. Sunflower Meal was mixed, 5.00 lower to 
10.00 higher. Crude Soybean Oil was 94 to 110 points higher. Corn Oil was 30 to 60 
points higher. Ruminant Meat and Bone Meal was steady to 48.00 higher. Ruminant Blood 
Meal was steady to 48.00 higher. Feather Meal was steady to 5.00 lower, mostly 
steady. Yellow Corn Hominy was steady to 7.00 lower. Corn Gluten Feed was steady to 
1.00 higher, mostly steady. Corn Gluten Meal was steady to 20.00 higher. Distillers 
Dried Grain was mixed, 6.00 lower to 15.00 higher. Wheat Millfeeds were mixed, 20.00 
lower to 10.00 higher, mostly steady to 5.00 lower.  Wheat Millrun were steady to 
3.00 higher.

Oilseeds: The December Soybean Meal futures closed 2.10 lower at 306.9 and March 
closed 80 cents lower at 312.80. The December Soybean Oil futures closed 94 points 
higher at 29.82 centers per pound and March closed 95 points higher at 30.33 cents 
per pound.  The Rail delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Central Illinois was 
mixed, 2.10 lower to 9.90 higher from 308.90-316.90; Indiana-Ohio was 2.40 lower from 
294.90-301.90; Iowa was 5.10 to 7.10 lower from 276.90-288.90; Kansas City was 15.10 
to 20.10 lower at 288.90; Minneapolis was 2.10 to 3.10 lower from 275.90-276.90, St. 
Louis was 5.00 higher from 314.00-319.00; Memphis was 2.80 higher at 305.90; Portland 
was mixed, 1.80 lower to 5.00 higher from 335.30-360.00; BN Santa Fe/Union Pacific 
delivered Chino Valley was steady to 2.10 lower from 335.00-355.90. Cottonseed Meal 
FOB the Central San Joaquin Valley in California was steady from 265.00-270.00; 
Kansas City was 10.00 higher from 260.00-275.00; St. Louis was 10.00 higher at 
270.00; Memphis was steady to 5.00 higher from 210.00-220.00. Whole Cottonseed FOB 
the Central San Joaquin Valley in California was steady to 50.00 higher from 345.00-
355.00; delivered to Portland was 5.00 to 55.00 lower from 335.00-390.00; Memphis was 
not available. Offers for nearby delivered Canola Meal, 34 to 36 percent protein, 
delivered to Portland was mixed, 1.80 lower to 10.00 higher from 262.30-275.00; FOB 
Central San Joaquin Valley truck was steady from 275.00-280.00; Minneapolis ranged 
216.90-236.90. Linseed Meal in North Dakota-Minnesota was steady fom 215.00-235.00. 
Sunflower Meal in North Dakota-Minnesota was mixed, 5.00 lower to 10.00 higher from 
150.00-185.00. The Soybean Oil in Central Illinois was 94 points higher from 29.42-
29.82 cents per pound; Indiana-Ohio was 94 to 110 points higher from 29.32-31.32 
cents per pound; Iowa was 99 points higher from 29.32-31.07 cents per pound; 
Minnesota was 94 points higher from 29.82-31.07 cents per pound. Crude Corn Oil in 
Central Illinois was 30 to 60 points higher at 28.30 cents per pound.

ANIMAL PROTEINS: Ruminant Meat and Bone Meal in the Central U.S. was 48.00 higher at 
240.00; FOB the Texas Panhandle was steady to 15.00 higher from 185.00-205.00; 
Minneapolis was steady from 185.00-225.00; Kansas City was 38.00 higher at 240.00; 
St. Louis was not available; Portland FOB Northwest Plants was steady from 185.00-
225.00; FOB Central and Northern California was steady from 200.00-210.00; FOB Los 
Angeles was steady from 200.00-210.00. Pork Meat and Bone Meal in the Central U.S. 
had no quote; Eastern Corn Belt was 190.00; Minneapolis was 10.00 lower from 180.00-
225.00; St. Louis was not available. Ruminant Blood Meal in the Central U.S. had no 
quote; the Texas Panhandle had no quote; Minneapolis was steady to 25.00 higher from 
575.00-600.00; delivered to the San Joaquin Valley was steady at 725.00. Pork Blood 
Meal in the Central U.S. had no quote; Eastern Corn Belt had no quote; Minneapolis 
was 15.00 to 20.00 lower from 610.00-625.00. Feather Meal in Kansas City was steady 
from 290.00-300.00; Minneapolis was steady to 5.00 lower from 300.00-345.00; Arkansas 
was steady from 270.00-280.00; Mississippi was steady from 270.00-280.00. 

CORN FEEDS: Yellow Corn Hominy in Central Illinois was 3.00 lower at 102.00 for rail, 
truck was 7.00 lower at 108.00; Kansas City (Northwest) was not available; St. Louis 
was steady at 110.00; California rail was not available, truck was steady at 190.00. 
Corn Gluten Feed in the Midwest (NE,IA,IL, IN) was steady to 1.00 higher from 90.00-
101.00; Kansas City was steady from 175.00-185.00; St. Louis was steady at 170.00, 
California was steady at 200.00. Corn Gluten Meal, 60 percent protein in the Midwest 
(IA, IL, IN) was 5.00 to 20.00 higher from 360.00-385.00; Kansas City was not 
available; St. Louis was steady at 430.00. Distillers Dried Grain prices in Iowa was 
5.00 to 10.00 higher from 130.00-150.00; Eastern Cornbelt (IL, IN, OH, MI) was 4.00 
to 6.00 lower from 110.00-150.00; Kansas was steady from 135.00-165.00; Minnesota was 
steady from 120.00-130.00; Nebraska was steady to 2.00 higher from 135.00-159.00; 
Wisconsin was steady to 1.00 lower from 127.00-140.00; South Dakota was 6.00 to 15.00 
higher from 130.00-150.00; Missouri was mixed, 3.00 lower to 5.00 higher from 135.00-
147.00; St. Louis was not available; California steady from 205.00-210.00; Pacific 
Northwest mills were steady to 3.00 higher from 205.00-206.00.

WHEAT MILLFEEDS: Wheat Millfeeds in Buffalo, NY was 10.00 higher at 105.00; Kansas 
City was 3.00 lower from 75.00-85.00; Minneapolis truck was steady to 5.00 lower from 
88.00-110.00; St. Louis was 15.00 to 20.00 lower from 100.00-108.00. Wheat Millrun 
delivered Portland was 3.00 higher at 193.00; FOB Los Angeles mill was steady from 
135.00-170.00.

OTHERS: In the south Rice Bran was mostly steady, instances 10.00 higher in Arkansas, 
Millfeed and Rice Hulls were steady. In California, Rice Bran prices and Rice hulls were 
steady. Alfalfa Meal prices were steady across the nation this past week.
